WNBA announces historical Kelcy Plum during Sparks-Walkiris

The 2025 WNBA season closed on Friday night with a three-game tripleheader, including the first career game of the Paige Bueckers and included Los Angeles Sparks against Golden State Valkyries.

Of course, this was the first game in the franchise history for Valkyries and it did not go in his favor as Sparks were able to cruise in the 84–67 victory to win their first win of the new season.

The Golden State made a solid start for the game as they led a point at the end of the first quarter, but Los Angeles were able to exclude them for the rest of the game, leading to victory.

Kelsey Plum led the route for sparks with 37 points, two rebounds and six assistance, while Deerka Hambi added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

It was an impressive win for Sparks as he was able to start his season with right leg and it was also an incredible game for plums at his team’s beginning.

With his performance in Friday night’s victory, Plum also created a history of WNBA.

The WNBA announced that the plum’s 37 points are the highest points among the one -season opener in the league history, breaking the previous record of 34 points that was organized by WNBA legends Maya Moore, Candes worker and Katie Smith.

Nefesa Kolier scored 34 points to tie the first record on Friday night in the victory of Minnesota Links over Beukers and Dallas Wings, but it broke quickly by plum.

This is an incredible achievement for plums, especially its first regular season game with sparks.

Of course, Plum was traded in Los Angeles in a blockbuster trick with the Las Vegas Aces and the two -time champion did not take a long time to fit with their new team.
