Two -time Detona 500 winner William Bayran has signed a four -year contract expansion with Hendric Motorsports that will put him with the organization through 2029 season, the team announced on Friday morning.
In a team statement, Bayran said, “We have made something special with the number 24 team.” “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working with amazing people in Hendric motorcyts, especially Mr. and Mrs. Hendric. We have fulfilled some great things that we really take pride, but we have big goals ahead. I am excited to go after this team and this organization.”
The current contract of Bayran will end after this season. Their expansion takes them deeply in the future with the team than any other drivers.
Kyle Larsen’s contract undergoes 2026 season. Alex Boman’s contract is through the 2026 season. Chase Elliot is signed through the 2027 season.
The 27 -year -old Bayaran is in his eighth full -time cup season. He has a 14 career cup win, including the last two Detona 500s. He has raced the championship in the last two years. Bayaran entered Coca-Cola 600 seconds on Sunday.
The focus will demand redemption in a 1.5-mile oval on Kyle Larsen.
Bayaran first signed with Hendric motorsports in 2016 at the age of 18 at the age of 18. He was a Cup Ruki of the Year in 2018.
“William is a real deal,” said Rick Hendric, owner of Hendric Motorsports, in a team statement. “The thing that makes him so special that it connects the natural ability with a unmatched work morality.
“You see it in great ones – the driver who can get on talent alone, but can choose everyone to exclude.
Bayaran will do double-duty on Charlotte Motor Speedway later this week, competing in Saturday’s exfinity series race before driving in Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday.
