Stephanie White said what about Cataline Clarke, Sophie Cunningham situation
Fever coach Stephanie White Cattlein provides updates on the position of Calin Clarke and Sophie Cunningham.
- Next game: Fever in Atlanta, 7:30 pm, Tuesday
- Ketleen Clarke has recalled the last four matches of fever with quad strain.
Indianapolis – Cetleen Clarke Will not play in Tuesday’s game in Atlanta, fever coach Stephanie White said on Monday.
The position of Clarke for the game, which comes exactly two weeks after facing the quad strain, was first in the air. Clarke did not refuse to play in the game in his availability on June 3, but said that he would need to revaluate to the medical staff of fever to take a final decision.
Now, that question has been answered.
“Not for tomorrow, no,” White asked on Monday whether Clarke would be available on Tuesday.
Clarke suffered a quad strain for some time during a fever game against New York Liberty on 24 May, although she could not indicate the specific game that it happened. He reported some pain after the game and found an MRI, which showed a tension in his left quad.
“Obviously, Adrenaline has covered a lot of stuff when you are in the heat of the fight,” Clarke said during his media availability on 3 June.
Clarke’s original timeline was that she would be out for two weeks, before she would set her revaluation date on 8 June. It was evaluated at the end of this week and allowed some aspects of the practice to be started again, but not necessarily approved for basketball activities at the highest level.
“I don’t know what is cleaned the right word, I mean, he is ready to start the ramp,” White said. “But this is completely different when you are doing just 1 -on -1 workouts, and when you are out in 5 -on -5, above and down, moving forward later. So proceeding. So it is allowed to do some practice, not everything. Everything. And we’re going to be smart, and we are going to be alert, and we are going to be alert, and we are going to play long games.”
Both CC and Sophie Cunningham are participating in the part of open exercise for media today.

Clarke participated in the Open Practice Open for the media on Monday afternoon, shooting the drill from the midrange and the 3-point range. They moved around the arc as a team, making shots from each corner, each wing and top of the key.
Clarkes were not limited to that part of the practice, running for rebounds and shooting normally. But shooting drills are very different from the actual exercise – the amount of both contacts and in its complications.
“It’s one thing to drill some shooting,” said White. “This is another thing to get out on the floor, the movement pattern, rhythm, time, and so what part you know, choose and choose things that they can be in practice, so that we can see their progress.”
White did not provide a specific timeline for Clarke’s return to the court. The fever plays in Atlanta on Tuesday, then returns to Indianapolis and on Saturday is a few days off before playing New York Liberty.
Will Ketleen Clarke play Atlanta Dream on Tuesday?
No, the fever star will recall his fifth straight game as she is cured by a quad injury. Coach Stephanie White confirmed on Monday that Clarke would not play on Tuesday.
