Philadelphia (AP)-Zack Wheeler scored 10 runs in seven fast innings and Train Turner made three hits in his return in the initial lineup as Philadelphia Philis beat Colorado Rockies 5–1 on Wednesday night.
Wheeler (1-0) allowed just one run and three hits. He came out in double digits in the strike for the 26th time in his career by excluding three batsmen in the seventh.

Turner, who missed two games with lower back cramps later last week, entered the Philadelphia’s home opener on Monday as a pinch of hitter against Colorado. Back to the leadoff spot on Wednesday, he gave an RBI single in the seventh.
Kyle Schwarber doubled a run-scoring and scored on the RBI groundout by JT Realmuto. Schwarber has made at least one hit in each of the five matches of Phillies this season.
Edmondo Sosa, who was filled in the shortstop while being out of the turner, began in the second base and there were three hits and two RBI. Sosa has at least two hits in all four matches played this year.
Rockies Starter Kyle Freeland (0–1) gave three runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings. Hunter Goodman closed the wheeler in the seventh and went deep into the back-to-back games.
