“There is no pressure,” said a junior third basman Kemon. “You know that the next person behind you is going to hit it.”
“We know someone is supporting us,” Davis said, a first destitute. “It is all about coughars.”
“It’s all about the sisterhood,” Cameron said.

Davis hit a two-run domestic run and Cameman chased with a single shot as Kagar jumped for the first innings of 3–0 and won 11–0 in five innings at the Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy in a division IV district on Friday night at Valley View High School.
“We are not visiting for a while,” said Kaougar coach Sara Shalnat. “It is always good for visitors and scores first and we talk in the way when we are the team of the house. I think the scoring first always puts pressure on others. We just tried to win the innings.”
Davis moved to 3-for-4 with four RBI, Camon moved two RBI and Junior Annie Fincham and Sofomore Clo Glass with 3-for-3, moved 2-for-3 each because Kenton Ridge improved 28–0.
He proceeded to face Klews Taylor (17-6) in D-IV regional semi-final game at Mason High School at 2 pm on Wednesday. The Yelzacket defeated Wansville 3–2 in nine innings to extend it in the regional tournament.
Cougars freshman Lily Fault made a single to open the game and moved to another place on a sacrifice fly by Junior Breenna Fifie. With a count of 2–0, Davis knew what was really coming.
“We talked about how she was throwing the first-pain strike,” she said. “I got two balls, so I knew that she was going to throw me down or properly. It was a good pitch, but I just sat down and waited.”
Sophomore ran a house on the centerfield fence to give a lead to his team, which would never sacrifice. This was his 13th homer in the season.
Along with two outsiders, Camon launched another ball 3–0 3–0 at Left Centerfield.

“I was just ready to get into the plate and I was confident,” she said. “My team was supporting me back and I could hear them. We definitely wanted to play and we came in and worked hard.”
Kaagar added four runs to the second, three in the fourth and one in the fifth to seal one and five-inning win. Kenton Ridge made 15 hits in the game.
At the bottom of the first innings, CHCA leadoff hit Ella Hales hit a line drive for the game of his team’s only hit – and Besarner – on Annie Fincham’s head. Freshman IVEE RASTATER sat down the next 12 hits, out of seven. Senior Kayan Tyson threw 1-2-3 fifth innings with two strikes.
“Both are doing a great job,” said Shalnat. “IVEEE is very concentrated and is therefore tyson. It is good for both to be ready and to go to any time. Tyson knows the routine, go out, get loose and be ready to go. They both did a great job this season.”
The D-IV top-ranked Cougars won their fourth direct district title. A year ago, Cougars proceeded to a D-II state semi-final game, falling 3–0 at the final state champion at the Firestone Stadium in Akron.
While the target is Akron’s second straight journey, the cougars are completely focused on the next game.
“You got to win the next game,” said Shalnat. “We never look forward … We have been continuing to focus and the ball has to hit.”
