Yare Rodriguez gave Patricio Pitbul a tough welcome to the UFC.
The former UFC Interim Fedarweight Champion overwhelmed the Belter Stalwart on Saturday at UFC 314, which caused a unanimous conquest of Rodriguez (20-5, 1 NC) to win a unanimous decision and Miami of Pitbul, Miami, Florida, spoiled the onset of the much-awaited Ashtakon of Pitbul at the Cassia Center in Florida.

Finally, all three judges made it a clean sweep for 30–27 for Rodriguez.
Later, Rodriguez called the winner of the UFC 314 main event to fight the winner, showing Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes battling for the empty UFC winged title.
“I knew he was going to be difficult,” Rodriguez said after the Battle of Pitbul. “Honestly I was painting it a little differently in my head. I wanted to finish him in the first round, I was preparing for him. I had good techniques for him, but the boy’s good, he has all the experiences in the world.
“All honors for their new visit in Patricio Pitbul and UFC. I do not want them the best but the best, but now it is time to focus on what it is, what is there. [UFC executive] Hunter Campbell, we spoke on the phone, he promised me, he said, ‘If you win your next battle, the title shot is next.

“Come on Mexico, September, Gwadaljara – I want to fight for a title there. Whoever wins tonight, I want to fight the man in Mexico.”
Rodriguez, 32, lapeged pitbull, 37, striking amounts from opening horn, using its length and an array of head, body and legs, to separate the pitbull (36-8) from the distance and to estimate what is coming next to Brazilians. Rodriguez gained confidence because the fight wore and even did his best in the third round, left the pitbull with a huge connection and beaten with attacks in an attempt to finish it.
Pitbul fought a bad situation badly, but eventually landed only 17 important attacks for 70 of Rodrigue and did not actually get out of the first gear in 15 minutes of affair.
Jeet marked Rodriguez since February 2023 and put him on the rebound after a back-to-back stop stops deficit at Volkanovski and Brian Ortga.

Pitbul Bellator is the most decorated fighter in history and is usually considered as a bail goat. A former two-division champion and a three-time Belter Fatherweight Champion, Pitbul rated nine successful titles in several of his reigns and left Belator the most win (24), fights (30), title fights (18) and title win (15), left as the owner of campaigner records for other people. After the acquisition of Belter’s promotion in late 2023, he came to a long -awaited UFC debut after he was very promoted with PFL.
Despite that war chest of praise, Pitbul has now lost three of its last four matches.
