The 2025 NHL Stanley Cup was on the verge of being upset with the first round against St. Louis Blues Vinypeg Jets.
Blues started the series with a back-to-back win, with Vinypeg immediately placed on ropes, but Jets responded with a win in Game 3 and Game 4 and level the affair.
St. Louis ended the jets to finish Jets with a win in game 5, before Jets forced Jets a game 7 with a win in Game 7. On Sunday, Blues took a two -goal lead in the fourth quarter.
They were even above a target until the regulation had 1.6 seconds left, as the Coal Perfety scored to tie the score and send the game on overtime.

Vinypeg did not ruin the life that Perfety’s goal breathed in its season, as Adam Lori handed over a 4-3 win to Jets in the second overtime-and handed over one seat in the second round.
While the crowd of jets at the Canada Life Center immediately went into nine clouds after Lori’s target, blues and his fans built a wall in hockey grief, in the disbelief of surprising changes that left St. Louis Packing for vacation.
Despite the cruel nature of their loss, the blues are not discouraged.
Blues have posted on their official X account, “The trophy winners of the presidents are to the verge. What is an incredible chain. We will come back.”

Blues, who had missed the playoffs in the last two sessions, can still take heart from the fact that they managed to return to Postsen after going 44–30–8 in a regular session.
For jets, they will take Dallas Stars to a second round series that closes in Vinnipag on Wednesday.
