UFC Welterweight Santiago Ponzinibio spoke to MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohan in front of his UFC on ESPN 67 against Daniel Rodriguez.
Noconut Creek, Fla. -Fc Welterweight Santiago Ponzinibio is not sure when he expects when he travels to Des Moines, Iowa, but he knows that he will be ready to fight a knock-down, drag-out type if he is required.
What will be their second battle of the year, Ponzinibio (30-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC) faces Daniel Rodriguez at UFC on ESPN 67 on 3 May. The event takes place in Wales Fargo Arena, which, according to the information they received, may be one of the few points of interest in the city.
“I never went to this place,” Ponzinibio told MMA Zanki. “I was asking people what’s there, and they say that much is not to do, but I am going to fight.”
“Argentina Dagger” encounters 38-year-old Rodriguez (18-5 MMA, 8-4 UFC), which many people expect to be a thrilling case on the feet. I am going to end, but if it is necessary, I need to fight 15 minutes in a war, I am going to be ready – but I believe that I am going to end before it.”
Rodriguez bounced back with three-fight skids in its last presence by winning a divided decision on Alex Morono. Ponzinibio also returned to the win column in his last outing, but Harris was certain to end, reaching the seventh position of his UFC career.
