Ryan Garcia has time to reflect.

Star boxer was out of control for most of the 2024 time, both with drug abuse in their personal life and with their tasks before their blockbuster boxing match against Devin Honey. Somehow, through all that, Garcia laid the best performance of his career to win the majority decision against Honey N Marg-until he failed in the drug test after the match, resulting in a one-year suspension and his career-scrapped victory did not come in a competition.

Garcia spoke about her year in the version of the “The Ariel Halwani Show” on Tuesday, ready to return to Box Rollando Romero on Friday. Garcia said that he had not found alcohol before the camp started for Romero.

Garcia said about his new approach, “I have a completely different mentality at this time. Thus myself were prepared.

“You will be professional, you will be at the point with everything if you want to be the best fighter in the world. [the other way] Once worked for me, but you can’t do this, you cannot maintain it.

“This is just a part of my story,” Garcia continued. “This is one of the moments where I was working with what I was doing, but honestly, I really do not regret anything. I don’t regret anything in my life. I just take everything right, I learn from that moment. It is not a way to go, I don’t want to represent myself, but I do not like to represent myself.”

Rewind the backward in early 2024, and the 26 -year -old Garcia, quickly became one of the most unbroken characters in Combat Sports. Garcia said he was never worried about his safety, whether he was through his impaired Xinigam or self-declared troll attempts towards other fighters. The talk with Garcia became so bad that he found himself banned even after a barrage of WBC, racist, homophobic and discriminatory social media tirads, one of the primary clearance bodies of boxing.

While there is no regrets how he lives his life, Garcia regrets an aspect of how he operated himself during that public spiral.

“With this day and age, everyone is very crazy *** saying,” Garcia said. “You see all the streamers saying that whatever they want. It is at the age of that day and at the age of age, but it is not the way I want to go about how I handle myself. It is just the kind of generation in which we live – everyone is stupid ***, and for a long time people said an idiot about me.

“At the end of the day, I don’t want to go down from that path right now. I just want to keep myself more professional and I can be the best fighter, and can’t be caught in that trolling game. Do I regret me? Many people see me.”

Honey rivalry heats up thanks, in part, for the antics of Garcia’s pre-lighting, but finally Garcia feels that there was never much heat among them. If anything, it was more of Honey’s father and coach, Bill Honey, who still does not like Garcia.

“I had something with the bill yesterday, but in addition, nothing with Devin,” Garcia said. “Dewin doesn’t really talk. It is really his father. I don’t think Devin has actually said anything to me. It always starts with his father, so it is never.

,[Bill] Just said that I look small. … He is trying to say, ‘Oh, you are not on the tree,’ he was trying to say this. I think the bill is going to everyone, but it is good for boxing. The bill is going to us, and I think Dewin takes some results for his daddy’s words. ,

While Garcia was suspended, he attempted to compete in an exhibition against the talented kickboxing champion Rukia Anapo for Japan’s Reaseen Fighting Federation, although Garcia was planned after facing a wrist injury.

Garcia is still open for a match in Japan, but first to receive through Romero in a big program at Times Square, New York – and then most likely, a rematch with Honey. Despite the change from its originally expected rival Isaac Cruz, Garcia is ready to roll against its former rare partner.

“As a person, he is cheerful without trying to be funny,” Garcia said about Romero. “He is just a man who does not know, I like to be around him. He is just a funny friend, and I don’t know if he is trying to be half the time of time, but he cracks me. I befriend him, who I think I think inside the ring, inside the ring, I am ready to destroy this man.

“Like -as our career proceeded, I just blown up in a way [Romero] Out of water. He was not with my stratosphere as far as performed and WhatsApp. I mean, he had only 16 quarrels, so he does not really fight, to be honest. There is not much to get away from him. This is just for me, this was the best option because ‘Pitbull’ [Cruz] Did not agree to the fight, which we were trying to get down. ,

Garcia’s immediate future may be a compelling in 2026 after spending most of his career with Oscar de la Hoya’s Golden Boy promotion. Romero, along with Golden Boy, marked the first two of Garcia’s last two matches. After that, he plans to follow the footsteps of many of his fellow boxing stars.

Garcia said, “I have got two more quarrels with Golden Boy, I believe. After that, I don’t see why not start your own promotion company and start running your own business.” “I think this is natural progress in the career of any superstar boxer. Oscar did. Floid [Mayweather Jr.] Do this [Saul] ‘Kenalo’ [Alvarez] Doing too much, he is not really signing for anyone.

“This is a natural progress. It is only this, and if the promoters go crazy, I mean, they are really hypocritical in a way.”
