Poland manager Michal Probiaz has resigned after a dispute with Robert Levandowski and a poor defeat to Finland.
The 52 -year -old coach had earlier taken a controversial decision to strip the Barcelona striker of his captaincy.
“I have come to the conclusion that, in the current situation, the best decision for the good of the national team will resign from the position of the coach,” the Probiar said about his development.
“The fulfillment of my professional dreams and my life in this role is the greatest honor.”
“I want to thank all my colleagues, the employees of the Polish Football Federation. I can always trust you. Thank you for relying towards the President and the Federation. Levandowski had previously requested the national team to make excuses for recent matches against Moldova and Finland, an action that motivated Michal Probiarz to remove further from his captaincy and instead assigned Pieoter Zilinsky.
Annoyed by the verdict, Levandowski immediately announced a statement, announcing his comeback from the Polish National Team: “Given the situation and loss of faith in the Manager of the Polish National Team, I have decided to withdraw while staying in the office. I hope I will get the opportunity to play in front of the best fans in the world again.”
