Phillies' Bryas Harper says 1,000 RBI 'not enough' after reaching milestone

Bryas Harper already had a group of achievements named after him, who were entering his latest Phillies game. 2012 Ruki of the Year. Eight all-star games. Four silver sluggites. Two MVP. And now, 1,000 career RBI.

Harper blossomed a single in a single in the fifth innings on Friday night, scoring a runner from the third and reached the plateau that 300 major legers are under the 132 -year -old lifetime of the game.

After the game, Bryas gave a classic reply to NBC Sports Philadelphia on a milestone.

“Not enough,” said Harper. “To keep going. Obviously there is a really good achievement, but I always want more.”

The achievement is impressive in itself, but Harper adds the speed that Harper did, and that suddenly something is really in the elite company. He is the only active player to reach 1K hit, walk and RBI before the age of 33.

Out of the other 13 players, 11 are already in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Albert Pujol is practically a lock to the coperstown. The last member of that group is Barry Bonds.

If this is not a will for Harper’s future Hof opportunities …

Bryas Harper accepted the crowd of Philadelphia after driving in the 1,000th run of his leading league career.

“It’s great,” Rob Thomson, the manager of PhilliesSaidAfter the game. “That list that he is at, there are some very heavy names. It’s quite a group that is a part. Just go to show how great he is.”

Now with the moment behind him, to look forward to Harper and work on continuing his recent change in the plate. After a hard vibe in late April, Bryas is hitting .320/.433/.520 in its last seven matches.

It will take some time to get back the number of their season where they are normally, but Serge is a great sign for the Philos and their star.
