Raleigh, NC – Alex Ovechin scored three goals from breaking the NHL record of Wayne Greatzaki after scoring the 892nd career of her career in the Washington Capital game on Wednesday night.
Ovechin defeated Frederick Anderson on a 5-on-3 power-play and left 34.5 seconds in the second period. She now has 10 goals in 13 career games against Anderson, she has faced Carolina in 92 matches in total and has faced 32 in 46 matches in Rale, which is the highest of any visiting player.
Commissioner Gary Betman, Capital owner Ted Leonis and Ovechin’s wife, Nastya, were in appearance for number 892, sitting together in a suite.
The 39 -year -old Russian has 39 goals in this season and is a way to reach 40 for the 14th time – even the most in league history – despite the disappearance of 16 games due to a broken fibula.
The Eastern Conference-Agni capitals have seven more sports left this season. The ovuchene is at the speed to pass the Greatzaki mark of 894, which seemed ineffective for a long time, before the playoff started.
Because it is only a regular-season record, ovchen’s discovery will need to continue in October if it does not score two or more this month.
