SIOUX Falls, SD-Iowa State Psychlone will return to Sanford Pentagon in the 2025-26 season when they play Mississippi State Bulldogs in a non-men’s basketball matchup on Monday, 10 November.
It marks the second visit to Pentagon to the Iowa state and the first appearance to the Mississippi state. The on-cell date for the ticket will be announced later.
Cyclone, which was ranked high in the country as number 2 in the last season, proceeded in 32 rounds in NCAA tournament and ended with a record of 25–10. TJ Otzelberger Sanford returns to the Pentagon, where he coached four times during his tenure as a head coach in the South Dakota state. Iowa State Sanford Pentagon has 1-0 all-time, defeated Colorado 68-62 on 13 November 2015.
Mississippi state, in the last season as number 14, was selected as number 8 seeds for NCAA men’s tournament. Bulldogs fell to the boiler in 64 rounds and ended with a record of 21–13. Coach Chris Johns NCAA is at eighth among the coaches active in winning percentage with at least five sessions as the head coach of Division I.
“We are excited for the head of the Ciox Falls in the next season,” said Otzelberger. “Everyone associated with Sanford Pentagon is the first class and we look forward to a great game with a top level rival in the Mississippi state.”
This is the fourth NCAA Division I event in Sanford Pentagon which was declared for the 2025-26 season. Nebraska will face Oklahoma in men’s basketball on 15 November. The Nebraska female basketball team will take the North Dakota kingdom on 16 November, and the South Dakota state will match the men’s basting in men’s basting on 15 December.
