Both coach Michael Malon and General Manager Calvin Booth were fired on Tuesday, the Nagets announced via social media.

David Edelman, who was a long-time top assistant of Malon, would assume interim coaching duties for the remaining 2024–25 season.

Denwar Nagets have given relief to Michael Mellone, the head coach of his duties and will not expand the General Manager Calvin Booth.

Denver has three games left in his regular session.

After Malon, the firing comes in just two sessions – which leaves the franchise as its most winning coach – took Nagets to his first NBA championship.

At the Western Conference in 47-32, the nuggets sitting in the number 4 seeds, the four-game losers are on the streak and the center Nicola Jokik, the three-time most valuable players, are struggling with continuity, despite posting historical numbers.

Malon coached about 10 full sessions with nuggets, compiling 471–327 (.590) records.
