A 14 -year -old veteran Blueliner on Wednesday night decided to end his NHL career in the nation’s capital.

The 34 -year -old Sadard announced before the playoffs that this poston would mark its end 14 season career,
“Around Christmastime, I knew how my body feels,” The rider said“My body is failing a little like that. By that time, just thinking about going through another heat, another season, you just don’t see yourself doing this.
“So I was just going to enjoy it and was playing as hard as possible.”
Experienced defensemen played 10 seasons with Columbus Blue Jacket, won a Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021, and spent their last four years with Montreal.
