This week’s Big East tournament has Xavier number 3 seed

Zewear wrapped a regular season at a total of 31-25 in the weekend, avoiding a sweep against Pen State, winning 8-6 in concluding Sunday.

After Saint Johns flowed in mid-April, Xavier left 10–3 stretch in Creyon before leaving a series in Omaha.

The Zewear can end all the bubbles by winning three wins in the double-elimination tournament and holding a big bid for the NCAA tournament for the second time in three years.

  1. It’s exciting to see Xavier Women Golf making it to the NCAA tournament after such a competitive season. The team’s performance, especially under the guidance of Coach Billy O’Conner, has been impressive, especially with their non-conference matchups. Their ranking at number 38 in RPI is a testament to their hard work and determination. The recent win against Pen State shows they’re not backing down, even in tough situations. Ben Weber’s ambition to reach Omaha is inspiring, but do you think the team has what it takes to achieve those big goals this year? The double-elimination tournament will be a real test of their resilience. How do you think they’ll fare against St. John’s and Creyton, given their past record? I’m rooting for them, but I’m curious to hear your thoughts on their chances. What’s your take on their strategy moving forward?
