The NASCAR title race is coming back on the homestand-mammy speedway.

Homestad is considered one of the best tracks in NASCAR for all three chains and especially for the cup chain. The track has progressive banking in its corners that allow for multi-grove racing and help to help wearing tires during a fuel run as the drivers can do tricks through the area managing their tires.
The title race went into Phoenix as part of renewal in that one-meal track in 2020. Phoenix is unlike any other track on the nascar schedule and is not considered a very representative sample that drivers do during the season.
Meanwhile, homestand, is one of the several intermediate tracks on the NASCAR schedule. Generally, if you are good in homestand, you are also good in tracks like Kansas, Las Vegas, Texas and Darlington.
Kyle Bush won the last cup series title on the track for her second cup title in 2019. NASCAR has been running a winner-tech-all format in its final race for four drivers at Cup level since 2014. In 2024, Joy Logano won his third cup series title for winning at the conclusion of the season in Phoenix.
In addition to being a clear championship site due to racing, homestand is also one of a few tracks with climate capable of hosting the final NASCAR weekend of the season, as the final race for the season is in November.
