Two clubs have accused WRU of making U-turn after funding decision
A senior MP has accused the “Bully Boy Tactics” on the bodies running rugby in Wales, as he announced that its four areas would no longer be funded equally.
Owners of the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) said that they now intend to implement a new two-level funding system.
Neath and Swanasi East Labor MP Caroline Harris said it was “fully unacceptable” and accused Wru of failing to answer “appropriate questions” about the future of clubs.

The four sides are expected to be present in their current form by at least June 2027 when the PRA exits, but the future of organizations will be subject to investigation.

Caroline Harris says Wru’s strategy is “completely unacceptable”
