Manager Ali Abdelaziz previews UFC 316, gives mass client updates
Dominance MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz talked about Islam Makhachev, Mausar Evlov, Magomed Anklev and UFC 316 client Kayla Harrison, Pachi Mix and more from MMA Zanki’s Mike Bohan.
Morristown, NJ – UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Magomed Anklev wants Alex Perera to get a title rematch, but only long that he will wait.
Ankalav (21-1-1-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) came as a minor underdog to win the 205 pound title from Perera (12–3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) in March in March. Perera racks the defense of her three title in 2024, and since losing the title, a little time before making a rematch for the title should be a little time before making a rematch.
Manager Ali Abdelaziz understands that Perera is in that position, but his customer, Anklev, is eager to come back to the cage soon, and does not want to wait forever for “Potan”.
“Listen, we were asked to fight the International Battle Week, we said yes,” Abdlaziz told MMA Janki. “We were asked to fight Alex in August, we said yes. We were asked to fight from October. This Maga is saying: ‘Alex is in every incident. He is on holidays, he is doing it – I don’t know if he is really going to fight me or he is just having fun.”
“He likes,” I am hitting myself in the gym. I don’t know when I have been fighting. I’m a champion, I think I am a challenge. ” And I said that if he is not ready, I get some of these other people. ,
33 -year -old Anklev fought against Perera in January and October last year before his crown moment. During his career, he usually made two performances in a calendar year. Now as the Champion of the Division, he is hungry to come back to Asht Kone to record the defense of his first title. Abdelaziz says that he will be patient for now.
“This is not a problem,” said Abhlaziz. “I think Alex Perera earned it, and I think he deserves it. If we want to wait, it’s fine. The man has done a lot for the game, and we respect him, and we respect him, and I think it should happen to him and magomed the next Anklev.”
While the team will wait for Anklev patiently to Remach, there is a cut-off point. If Abu Dhabi is expected to return in late October, there is nothing on books, they will look forward to move forward.
“100 percent – If this is not Abu Dhabi, he will fight someone else, of course.”
