Loreta Swit, who played the role of Major Margaret Hulihan on the TV series “M*A*S*H”, has died for his confirmation for CBS News. She was 87 years old.
Swit’s death at his home in New York City, his representative, b. Harlan Bol, said in a statement to CBS News on Friday. It was believed that he had died due to natural reasons.
Switt acted on stage and screen, but she was probably known for her long -running role as a foil for Benjamin Franklin “Hockey” of Elon Elda, which broadcast for 11 sessions on CBS from 1972 to 1983.
