Chris Carter recently informed me that he participated in the Pro Day of Howard on 27 March, where he improved some of his average status.

Former Northern Illinois Tight End Crystian Carter accepted an invitation Detroit Lions‘Local supporter day, according to a report on Friday.

Draft Network Justin Mello Carter’s expected appearance was reported after his standout performance last month at Pro Day of NIU. Carter posted a 35-inch vertical and 10-foot-4-inch wide jump to go with 4.62 40-yard dash time.

The fastest tight end in this year’s combination was Oregon’s Terence Ferguson with 4.63.

Carter is a latest name that is reported to participate in the team’s practice facility in Allen Park. Michigan state aggressive lineman Luke Pneumon, Michigan’s aggressive lineman Josh Prebe, and Obern Lineback Dorian Mausi are also expected to participate in many names.

Carter played three sessions at Howard before transferred to NIU in 2023. He made 12 catches for 178 yards and two touchdowns in that season, but witnessed a low role in 2024, primarily seen the field on special teams.

He participated in Howard’s Pro Day on 27 March and improved a few average compared to his NIU Pro Day performance.

Lions are clearly happy with their early tight end, Sam. Laporta, but a clear-cut athlete like Carter is an option that they should not draft and should not be available for the training camp.
