Tampa Bay LightningThe top probability Isaac Howard is planning to return to Michigan state for its senior season rather than signing its entry level deal.
This is a minimum-and-a-half update, as Howard is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent on August 15, 2026, if electricity does not sign the entry-level deal until it. Thus, it will definitely be something to monitor now and between the 2026 NHL off-season.
21 -year -old Howard was selected by Lightning with the 31st overall pick of the 2022 NHL entry draft. He took a big step in his game in this season with Michigan State, with a height of new career with 26 goals and 52 points in 37 matches. This was when he had eight goals and 36 points in 36 competitions with the school with this previous campaign.
Given how well the Howard played at the collegiate level, the hope was that the young man would sign his ELC and would give another potential boost to electricity for this final stretch of the year. However, he is going back to school instead.
