Jimmy Butler had some pointed words for fans of Minnesota Timberwells after a 99–88 win in game 1 of his Western Conference Semi-final series on Tuesday.
Butler scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and eight assistance in the victory, which Warriors pulled for most of the match -ups without Stephen Curry. Curry came out in the second quarter with a hamstring injury.
Butler hoped to listen to some boos in his return to Minnesota. He spent a little bit of a season with Timberwells and it ended ugly, butler eventually forced his way out of the city.
However, he warned for some fans in Minnesota who were out of hand during Game 1.
“Bus doesn’t bother me. But people have to look at their mouths,” Butler said“It is good with the boys and all the items, but people are calling the name and all the items that I can hear here.”
Golden State Warriors ahead Jimmy Butler
Butler held a postgame press conference with his comedy side -by -hillas, who asked what fans were saying.
“I am not going to repeat it. It’s not good. It’s unnecessary,” said Butler. “Bouses I get this, I understand. Let’s just leave it on it.”
Hield said: “Yes, look at your mouth.”
Butler is not a stranger for a hostile environment. He joined Warriors in February after another exit in February, forcing him to get out of Miami this time. He has also spent time with Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls and usually does not welcome warmth.
But Butler has played an important role in Warriors’ playoff runs. And due to injury now with the condition of curry, their responsibilities are designed to grow even bigger.
