UFC on ESPN 69: Rose Namazunas Post-fight interview
The ESPN 69 winner Rose Namazun spoke after the fight with MMA Janki and other reporters after winning its decision on Miranda Mavric in Atlanta.
Atlanta – Rose Namazunas believes that she is on the verge of a title shot in 125 pounds, but she really wants to earn it.
Namajunas (14-7 MMA, 12-6 UFC) returned to the victory column at UFC on ESPN 69 in State Farm Arena, with a clear consistent victory at Miranda Mavrich. Not only Namjun, currently ranked at number 7 by UFC, fight back in the ranking as Mavric is number 11, but also against someone he has trained in the past.
Next time, former strawweight champion wants to face someone to bring him into position for a title shot in 125 pounds.
“When I originally wanted to go back there before this battle, I was looking at Vivian (Arujo), but he matches with Tracy (Cortez), so it’s not,” Namazunas said at a post-fight news conference, “I know that I don’t just do not do Blancfield).
Among those names, Ranka ahead of him, Namazunas expanded more on Silva (19–5-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) and Grasso (16–5-1 MMA, 8-5-1 UFC).

Silva, which is currently at number 1, may be the next to a title shot against the current champion Valentina Shevachhenko. Grasso, which is currently at number 3, is on two-fight skids, including a trilogy against Shevachhenko includes a title loss and a disadvantage to the silva. Between the two, Namazunas believes Graso is a better matchup.
“I think Alexa Grasso, perhaps stylistically I think it would be a little better for me,” Namazunas said. “I think Natalia, her speed is very difficult and she maintains it for a very long time. She will be slightly more for a difficult fight, but I think with my experience and everything like this – I think any of those girls – and Alexa has such an experience that with the title fights and stuff.
