If you blink the eyelid, you probably missed a goal.
How Wild Things were found at the Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night, where Philadelphia Flyers and New York Rangers jointly felt less like an NHL game for nine goals alone in the third period and felt more like a high scoring, a high scoring, a dream of firewagen fever.
But when the dust accumulated, the flyers emerged with an 8–5 win over a Rangers team, who was still jockey for the playoffs, thanks to the first career hat trick from Tyson Foster and scoring some time from Alexi Kolosov at some time in the first beginning.
Standing is easy to see and assume that nothing is left to play. Flyers disagree. Loudly. They are not moving forward – they are moving forward, playing with pride, freedom and complete energy. As the Foster just kept it after the game: “Winning is fun, so let’s win.”

1. Foster’s hat trick capches a successful season
In one of the most prestigious buildings in NHL, Tyson Foster had a night that he would never forget. Three goals, 22 in the season, and a spot in Flyers History Books.
“It was great,” Foster said later. “I know that this building is amazing, and it was great to get a hat trick here to ensure.”

"Cold" There is an understanding. Foster became the first flyer since Simon Gagne, which recorded a back-to-back season to start his career with the club, became the first flyer, which speaks not only for his finishing capacity but also for his stable growth as a two-way contribution.

He is no longer a shooter – he is someone who can tilt to run a line and bend ice. And with four games to go, the foster is not the coast for the finish line. “Hopefully I can be warm and do it again next year.”
2. Alexi Kolosov gets the beginning – and win
The box score says Alexi Kolosov scored five goals. This is true. This was his first start in three months, and he was immediately thrown into the fire – a situatuine interim head coach Brad Shaw specifically stated that Pregem they were trying to avoid putting Kolosov against the Rangers.

Interim head coach Brad Shaw said, “I thought Koli was great at first.” “I talked about limiting opportunities against him, and then we give him a penalty shot and two other point-blank breakways! So it was not ideal … but I felt that he thought he kept us inside, kept it 1-0 after a period where we were struggling and got stuck a little bit in the mud.”
Sean Cuturier praised: “They quickly saved some big services to keep us in the game. To help us scoring something late in the game and achieving that victory, I think it’s too big for him.”
Ever since he came from Belarus, Flyers have been cautious with the development of Kolosov, but this outing properly showed why there is enthusiasm around 22 years. He is composition, athletic and ineffective – even in a sport where Pak was flying at every angle.
The crease in Philadelphia has seen a rotating door this season, but Kolosov gave a stable hand to the flyers when they needed it.
3. This team still cares – a lot
Let’s remove it from the path: Tuesday night’s game was not a clinic in the protective structure. Brad Shaw accepted equally. “It was a crazy period. It just seems to be a lot of chaos, but it seems that it is slipping out of your control if it is not already.”
And yet, through all chaos, the flyers never lost a sense of solidarity or faith. When the Rangers increased, they were not caves, and they put their foot on gas till the last bajar.
“I felt that he had some good shocks in the first two periods,” said Sean Catorier. “I don’t think we played our best game, but we got stuck together and scored some big goals in the game.”
This group can be out of the playoff images, but they are not going through motions. Every shift is proud, chemistry in every field, and fire in every festival. Jacob pelletteers, whose reactions to the goals have quickly terminated fans, teammates, and coaches, have fully expressed it: “It was good! You know, it’s good. It’s good. I felt that we had a difficult first period, but then we came back strong.”
There has also been a noticeable change in the aggressive mentality of the team as Shaw took over behind the bench. Couturier pointed to a looseness, which has been brought out out of the best in players: “It seems that people seem a little more loose. They are not afraid to play … You have got to make sure that you are accountable … but it is good to see people rewarding.”
Four games are left, flyers are writing their end in this season – one that has not been defined by the playoff berth, but by fighting, fun, and a belief that something meaningful can still come from the final stretch.
