Indiana fever is growing simultaneously as a team in positive ways, and the members of the bench are just beyond the players.
In this case, the team won the Akash of Chicago, about the acting of Head Coach Austin Kelly, who was filled for Stephanie White at the United Center on Saturday, June 7. White missed the game for personal reasons.
“Head coach Step White will not be in a fever game against Chicago Sky on Saturday night, a team spokesperson confirmed Indistar on Saturday morning,” Cloe Peterson reported“White was not with the team on Friday during practice for personal reasons, and its position was to be determined for the first Saturday game.”

White brought Kelly with him as an assistant coach, as the fever hired White before the 2025 season. The two worked together in 2023 and 2024, when the White Connecticut was leading the sun sideline, as well as during the previous stop of his respective career.

“Go inside the locker room as the team celebrates Austin Kelly tonight to win as the acting head coach,” Fever added to her own X account as a caption of a video of Indiana players, which was immersing Kelly.
The fever win without the assistance of Calin Clarke came from 27 points by 27 points, which missed the final four competitions due to the quad strain. The team’s doctors will revaluate him over the weekend, which can potentially free the Star Point Guard to return against Atlanta’s dream on Tuesday, June 10.
The fever is now 4-4 in the season and 2–2 without Clarke in the lineup.
