Since the onset of the 2025 NASCAR Cup series season, fans have tuned in Amazon Prime to see both practice and qualifying session. At the end of each week they look at experienced broadcaster Mike Joy and hear that Kevin provides analysis with Harvick and Clint Boir.
At the Canasus Speedway on Saturday, fans were surprised when he began to look at the streaming service and instead of Joy’s familiar voice, it was Harvik for the management of the show. He joined the booth by Bauyer and Jamie McMarre.
“We are trying to practice and qualify without Mike Joy here,” Harvick said in the initial seconds of coverage. But there was no reason for the absence of the announcer.
Mike Joy speaks on Sonoma Racewe.
Naturally, fans began to guess why the 75 -year -old, who in 1979 said his first Detona 500, was absent from broadcasting.
“Mike Joy is Ok?,” A fan Asked,
“I wonder if it was a major option?” Questioned One more.
“Only a stunning version of the driver found. Anyway in the booth,” Another fan. “I saw some comments, which is expecting Mike. It’s not sure, but either I resonate those feelings.”
“Tell us where the mike is,” Sought One more.
“Mike gave Harvick some exercises to play for Mike in 2028,” another suggested,
If Joy returns to the Sunday’s cup series race, it will be their last broadcast for a point-paying race in 2025. The next week is an all-star race and then the Coca-Cola 600 will be followed, which will air on Amazon Prime.
