The 50 -year -old Pillar has been a film and television actress highlighted by the 1999 film “The Mod Squad”, starring Claire Danes, Omar Apps and Jiovani Ribbies.
Elmira legend Erni Davis was drafted number 1
The intensive examination faced by Shadur in the buildup for the draft is very different from the 1962 NFL draft in which Erni Davis, a native of Elmira, was chosen by Washington after winning the 1961 Hissman trophy in 1961 by Washington.
Davis, an Elmira Free Academy Bachelor, was later traded Cleveland Brown And never played at NFL after the diagnosis of leukemia. He died in May 1963 at the age of 23.
The Hall of Fame Quarterback Bob Waterfield had a small relationship with Elmira, which was her birthplace. Waterfield’s family went to Los Angeles when he was a child. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 1944 NFL draft and was acted for Cleveland/Los Angeles Ram in 1945, earning NFL’s most valuable player.
