Duke’s con Nukepel is moving towards NBA.
The Freshman Wing announced on Wednesday that he was making an announcement for the 2025 NBA draft. In his lonely season in Durham, Knueppel scored 14.4 points per game.
6-7 possibilities are a possible lottery pick after a skilled season. He was the second major scorer of Duke to be behind the potential number 1 overall pick Cooper Flag. Knueppel shot 48% from the ground and more than 40% from the back of the 3-point line. He was one of the three Duke players with Khaman Maluch and Sion James to appear in all 39 of the Blue Devils Games.

Duke’s season ended with a loss to Houston in the semi -finals of the NCAA tournament in the final four. The Duke was excluded from 11–1 at the end of the loss of 70–67, followed by 1:26 with 1:26 with 1:26 with 66–59.
Knueppel played 38 minutes in that game and had 16 points to go with seven rebounds. Prior to the final four, Knueppel scored 21 points in Duke’s easy elite eight wins on Alabama and 20 points in Sweet 16 against Arizona as it was 5 -7 from the ground and 8-9 to 7 from the free-thro line.
Knueppel was a five -star recruitment in the 2024 orbit after signing with Duke in September 2023. The Wisconsin Native was ranked as number 9 players and number 6 shooting guard in the country.
With the announcement for the draft, the decision of the flag is still coming. Maluch can also announce for the draft of 2025 as it is a potential lottery pick for its defensive capacity. Even if all three players are left, Duke is well stocked for 2025-26 season, in which the return of Tieres Proctor and Isaiah Evans is returned and Number 1 recruitment class in the country. Duke has signed the twin sons of the five -star Sambhavna Sambhavna Shelton Henderson and Cameron and Caden Buzer, former Duke and NBA player Carlos Buzer. Cameron is also a five -star recruitment while Keden is a four -star player.
