After taking a 1–0 series lead over Minnesota Timberwells, Drummond Green and Golden State Warriors fell directly to finish their season in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

Green said that he hoped Kuminga will remain in the Golden State, but he admitted that he is not sure what will be possible.
Green said, “They have great love and support because I want to see him doing well.” “In an ideal world, it will be here, but this game we play and this world is in us and this business is in us, it is not always ideal. We’ll see what happens, but of course wishing him luck with your independent agency.”

The warriors will now move to offsen with some major holes to fill. But he has strengthened his core under a contract with Curry, Butler and Green for the next season.
