Detroit Tigers veteran Miguel Cabrera continues her game career.
The 42-year-old-who retired from his 21-year-old MLB career after the 2023 season-2025-26 will play for Tagraress de Argu in Venezuela’s professional baseball league during the season, which begins at the end of October 2025.
Cabrera has not played in Venezuela since the 2007-08 season.
LVBP plays 55 games each of the eight teams in the regular season.
The best five teams move forward in a round-robin format with 16 games. The top two teams of Round Robin compete in the best seven last series in late January.

Cabarera, who turned 42 last April, spent her late teenage and early 20s, from 2000–08, spent nine winter season with Tigress de Argu in LVBP. He inspired Tigraress de Aragua for six championship performances and won four titles.

He played in Venezuela during MLB’s offshine.
Fellow Venezuela Star Bobby Abru LVBP was one of his notable rivals.
From 2000–08, Cabarera spread 617 plates with Tigress de Argu in nine regular sessions in 170 matches with 2000-08.
Cabarera stopped playing for Tiger de Argua after signing an eight-year, $ 152.3 million with Detroit in March 2008, Florida Marlins exactly three months after Marlins-and three weeks before his 25th birthday. In March 2014, Cabrera signed another contract expansion with Detroit, priced more than $ 248 million.
It has been 17 years since playing a competitive baseball game on Venezuela land.
It is about to change.
