The Chicago Sky Coach faced a backlash on Angel Reese’s decision, which originally appeared on Ethlon Sports after the third straight loss.

Chicago Sky took a 39–38 lead against Atlanta Dream on Friday night and framed with just four points to enter the fourth quarter. But a late collapse caused a loss of 88–70 – his third direct defeat – he left 2–7 in the season.

Despite the backlash directed at Coach Marsh, Angel Reese replied with maturity and professionalism, expressing support between his head coach and the early season struggles of the sky

"We have to give Tyler Grace as he is also a crook coach. He is the head coach, but it is on us on the floor," Reece said, "We have to look at ourselves in the mirror and be patient with ourselves and just continue to grind. We do not indicate the finger."
