Six-time prominent champions have ended as runners-up at six different times in their country’s national championship, but have never hoisted the trophy.

This year may be his last shot, as his five -year discount for the end of 2021 PGA at the end of this season.

Mikelson missed the US Open cut in his final three attempts to complete the career Grand Slam.

Mikelson stated that this week’s setup in RTJ should provide a good test to see if their game is ready for Omont in the end of next week.

He said, “What I have thought about what we will see next week that we will see this week.

“Short games, touch, peel around the greens, taste rough, speed, lag drill and speed and greens, it is all important here, just like next week. It may not be a better place to get ready.”
