Can Washington’s younger brother Sean Taylor follow his brother’s footsteps? Gab Taylor was a multi-year-old starter for rice and is expected to draft at some point in this month’s 2025 NFL draft.
Rice owl recently organized its annual supporter day, and Taylor put on a show. Security ran the 40-yard dash over time between 4.38 and 4.4 seconds. An Instagram post showed Taylor in Rice Pro Day.
Former Washington wide receiver Santana Moss commented: “Yesuh.” Moss was close to Shaun Taylor at Moss Miami University and with Redskins. Moss and Clinton Portis have been close to the family of Taylor since their tragic death in November 2007.
After his supporter day, Taylor briefly talked about what NFL teams would get.
“A diamond in the fat,” said Taylor. “A person who is about to come and compete. I don’t care about being a superstar …… I want to be the best role that I can be.”
This is what every NFL team wants to hear. Washington General Manager Adam Peters and Head Coach Dan Quin often speak what they see “”Commanders“Those team-first people like those who play fast and work hard. Peters also seek players who have a lot of college experience. Taylor rice has seen in 54 sports, starting four sessions, 239 career tackle, 10 interaseption, 27 pass defense, and six forced Fambles.
Someone commented on the post about DC to Taylor, to which he replied, “It feels good.,
Taylor is likely to go for some time on the day of the draft. The draft Washington has only five pics, but three in the last day. Commanders can trade back to add more grains, and Taylor can be an ideal fit as a backup safety/special-team. If Washington chose him late, it would be an incredible story.
Sean Taylor is in Washington’s Ring of Fame and only in the history of the franchise is only to retire (21) of his number (21).
If the commanders draft Taylor, he will join his former college team partner Luke McCfrey in Washington. McCafrey played three seasons in the rice before the commanders drafted last April.
