NFL analyst Lance Zerleen described Baron’s “smoothing coverage” near the bottom, his “root recognition, footwork and play strength”. The “instinct of the baron” allows him to bounce on catch points, or tackle the catchrs nearby in zone coverage.
“Size and tapes work in their favor as a physical nickel that can be an initial contributor and future starter, with the ability of cross-train as a security,” Zerleen said.

Baron has a lot of reverse, and with the right team partner next to it, Denver can be one of the best CB Duos in the league in the near future.
