Boston Red Socks drafted Strikeland before trading for Pittsburgh Pirates in 2009 in the 18th round of 2007 MLB draft in 2007. The latter club claimed to have removed him from the waves in 2013 to the right in the right hand, and San Francisco veterans. He made his MLB debut for him in 2014 and was nominated in Opening Day Roster in 2016.
