The rivers started their college career during the 2021–22 season with South Carolina. She came out of the bench and helped GameCox win the Women’s NCAA Championship.
She moved to the northern Carolina state for the next season and eventually increased into a strong defender, which blocked 1.6 and blocked a game as a senior. It was quite good to pick her number 8 in this year’s WNBA draft.
