Alzaman Sterling did not surprise anything seen in the UFC 316 between Merb Dwarishwili and Sean O’Mali.
Similar to the first clash of Dvalishvili with O’Mali last September, Sterling played an important role in helping the UFC rule Banmitt champion to protect its latest title. The roles in the rimach were reversed, however, the dvalishvili was entering with the belt and was entering as o’Malley Challenger, yet the dvalishvili was very high once again, presented O’Malley with a vicious third round north-south choke.

On Wednesday, appearing in in-studio on “The Ariel Helvani Show”, Sterling said that he wondered that O’Mali looked better in the first battle, despite being O’le, there were nine months to prepare for Rimach.

Regarding the O’Mali saga, Sterling hoped to get an immediate title of himself after leaving his belt in O’Mali, but the UFC went in the direction of a separate rematch instead, as O’Mali’s first title came against Raksha Marlon Vera. In March 2024, O’Mali won that battle.
Sterling has accepted the reality of the situation, although she is still bitter to some extent how things go out,

Since coming to the division in April 2024, Sterling fought twice in Fatherweight. He unanimously defeated the perennial contender Kelvin Khochaki in the UFC 300, then the Movsar Evloev in UFC 310 last December faced a difficult-to-half decision loss.
In the title necklace and consistent hard weight cut 135 pounds, Sterling eventually inspired to leave its long weight class. Similarly, O’Mali has waged the possibility of fighting the featherweight in the past, most especially when he was expecting a big champion vs. champion clash against former featherweight titolder Ilya Topuriya. Dvalishvili now with a back-to-back-cut deficit on its resume, O’Malley suddenly got stuck in a pargeetry about his grammature title expectations.

If O’Malley eventually replaces the divisions, the sterling will welcome it with open hands.

“I really don’t give about O’Mali as ***,” Sterling said. “I will roam out with that boy. I don’t have a vendetta, like, ‘I need to find this man.” I am satisfied seeing what I should do.

While Sterling is currently ready for its big wedding day, he is also thinking about his next wings fighting on a possible return in August or September. In the context of potential opponents, two especially he is closed in his crosshare.
