AJ McCaron is still scared of Alabama’s ‘Skiny Camp’, which originally appeared on Ethlon Sports.
In 2009, Alabama Crimson Tide prepared four -star quarterback AJ McCaron for a scholarship. McCaron once became one of the most decorated players to donate to Krimson and Gray, winning three BCS titles and earning two all-second nodes.
However, before McCaron became an aggressive leader for the tide, he arrived in Tuskalosa in six feet three but in just 195 pounds. This week, McCaron shared her personal scary story of how she reached her weight weight of over 210 pounds.

Under the protection of head coach Nick Saban, Crimson Tide prouds the weight management of his players. While some were fixed for morning workouts and trips for sauna, others, such as McCaron and Wide Receive Kenny Bell, participated in the “Skinny Camp”.
“Every morning, I and Kenny Bell ate a jar of peanut butter. We had to finish it. There were no days every morning. You could put it in a protein shake, put it in PB and JS, you could just hold a spoon and eat it, but you had to eat a jar of peanut butter every morning,” McCcaron said during a segment.Dynasty podcast.
He said, “I reached about 200 pounds by the end of the season, but it ruined me with peanut butter.”
Offsen Routine paid dividends, with McCaron to a weight, which placed it straight during the 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons. He launched 40 games during that stretch, throwing 74 touchdowns and Alabama to two national titles.
