Yankton-Brooks and Kendal Aldend’s runner-up painted Mitchell-sector golfers on Thursday.
Brox Edelland, meeting Mitchell, finished second in the boys under-9 division at the South-East Junior Tour stop of South Dakota Golf Association at Fox Run Golf Course, firing a naugle score of 47, including four pars. From Kendal Edelland, Michelle, also shot a nine-hal round of 59 to finish girls second in 10–11 divisions.
Mitchell’s Barkli Miles was third in the girls’ 10–11 division and after 68 behind Brandon winner Madeline Lahren, who fired 48 to claim the title. Brandon’s Miles Luning won the under -9 division of boys after 1 -under 35.
Michelle’s Griffin Lyel was a top-field finisher on Thursday in 18-Hole Divisions, who gave a round of 85N route to finish fourth in the boys’ 12–13 divisions, including a shirt on par-3 number 17 hole. Michelle’s Jack Gilon achieved the fifth part of the fifth after 89 with a shirt.
After the shooting of 99, Plate finished 12th in the Burcate Division. Siox Falls’ Lincoln Tramar and Yankan’s Will Hayes tied up against Para -72 layout of Fox Run after a 6 -over 78 round at the top of the division standing.
Michael Branowgh of Tindle fired at a round of 80, which finished in a tie in eighth place in boys, with a shirt with 14–15 division -5 number 3 on -5 number 3 hole and eagle -5 number on number 10 hole. Rilan Burcate of the Plat was ranked 28th after 107. Brandon’s Lincoln McInnny shot 4 overs 76 to defeat Cooper Shumon, a native of Brandon.
In the 16–18 division of boys, Parkston’s landon Weber ended in a tie at 18th after shooting 83. Kelby Newsbire of Parkstone secured the 24th position after 87. Zach Greble of Sox Falls shot an equal round of 72 to win the Division Championship.
Other winners include the 16–18 divisions of girls, Lauren Roerig (114) in Elia Homestad (79) of Yankatan, Lauren Roarig (114) in girls and 12-13 divisions in girls Stela Smith (79) and Jackb Desong (43) in Canton in 10-11 Nun-Hol Division.
The next South -East Junior Tour event will be held on Tuesday, June 17 at the Lakvyu Golf Course at Mitchell.
