NBA veteran Allen Emsron revealed the tragic news on Thursday, which originally appeared on Ethalon Sports.
Alan Emsln played 14 seasons in NBA and is widely considered one of the greatest players in basketball history. In addition to being nominated in the 75th anniversary team of NBA, he was 11-time All-Star, 2001 League MVP, three-time All-NBA First Team Selection, Ruki of the Year of 1997, four-time scoring champion and led the league in the theft three times.
Through all this, he received 26.7 points per game, 3.7 rebounds and 6.2 in his career.
Now at the age of 50, he has recently taken a new challenge in becoming the vice president of basketball for Reebok. She was appointed in that role in October 2023 and works with Shakeel O’Neel, who is the President.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Evarson resorted to social media to accept the passage of Mabel Marbari, the mother of two-time NBA all-star Stephen Marbari.
“Heartbroken !!” Evarson wrote. “My thoughts and prayers go out for the Step and Marbari family. He always behaved me like a son. Relax comfortably, uncle Marbari. I love you!”
Emson and Stephen Marbari created close friendship for years, met for the first time as they completed their college career and entered NBA. In the 1996 draft, Everson was first selected as a holistic manner, while Marbari went to fourth place.
He went to NBA for years to compete against each other. Emsln spent most of his career with Philadelphia 76rs, later playing for Denver Nuggets, Detroit Piston and Memphis Grizzlee. Marbari played for Minnesota Timberwells, New Jersey Net (Now Brooklyn Net’s), Phoenix Sun, New York Nix and Boston Celtics.
But as Evarson said, the relationship was deeper than just facing the court. Emsln became close to Stephen Marbari’s mother, who died on Tuesday.
