The NASCAR Cup series is for its first issue race outside the US since 1958 in Mexico City later this week.
The series will run at Autodomo Harmanos Rodriguez. The driver will compete on the 15-turn, 2.42-mile course. The frontstretch is 3,937 feet, which makes it the longest in the series (Pocono’s frontstretch is 3,740 feet).
Chase Elliot (three wins), Ryan Blanna (two) and Joy Logano (two) have combined seven of the last 11 races on a new track for the cup series.
