Willmar – The Flags of Honor Memorial Site was a suitable start for the Memorial Day/Law Day 5K race held on Saturday, 24 May. The incident hosted by the Kandihohi County Area Family YMCA was part of the Glascal Lake Championship running series.
About 140 runners followed the race route from the Flag of Honor Memorial to Robins Island Regional Park, which first before crossing the bridge towards the road and before crossing the bridge before the bridge ended near the Landing near the boat near the boat on Robins Island.
At the end of the Memorial Day/Law Day 5K held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, the runners were congratulated with a happy crowd. Race Route took the runners from the Flag of Honor Memorial Park via Robins Island Regional Park for First Street before returning to Robins Island.

“They will originally come through the park and then run the footpathy to the Thompson Park and back. But we decided two years ago that it would be more beautiful to go across the bridge. Called even without cars on the highway,” Jai Laonon, “Jai Laon, Glassial Lex Running Series Board said.
While the race is part of the Glassial Lex series, the program was open to all levels of the competition. Some runners were trying to score points to increase their ranking in the series, while others wanted to set new personal records or just spend time out on a good day.
Isaac Ichorrest pushed himself to finish the Memorial Day/Law Day 5K held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Robins Island Regional Park. The event was to identify Memorial Day, while giving people a chance to get out and spend time together.

“Our goal is just to get people out. In fact it is in our objective statement, to encourage people to just get out. There are some people who come out and many times we get rivalry. We receive people in an age group who are going to such a friendly rivalry,” Lauton said.
The race began as a way to identify Memorial Day in 2004. The program once showed a pre-presentation to accept those killed in the service of their country, but the presentation has been abolished due to lack of time.

According to interim CEO Missy Fick. The YMCA hosts several other programs to help attach the community to attach the community and helps to collect holiday events simultaneously.
Glascheal Lex Running Championship Series
There is a non-profit organization that gives runners a chance to score and compete in the race in West Central Minnesota. The series includes 12 races; Runners participating in at least five races are scored based on their time. These scores are then used to determine the top 10 runners at many age- and gender-based catags. The next glacial lakes race, running for a sweet beet will be in Rainville on 7 June.
Seth Conclin was one of the top runners at the Memorial Day/Law Day 5K hosted by the Kandiohi County Area YMCA on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The race was more timely scored by the Glascheral Lex Championship Running Series, giving a chance to track and defeat the runner.
