“I just wanted to keep it after that,” said Shepard.
At that point David bought in the idea, Ben said, because what could he say? Susan was still more than doubt, but eventually had to surrender.
Shepard said, “Perhaps my mother took a year to accept the fact that I had mustache.” “But my father likes everything I do.”
It has since become a defined characteristic of Shepard’s aesthetics, as it has settled in a rotation role as high-energy, low-maintenance wing of pacers-a ’80s style’ statch appears to be a permanent smile.
“I think it’s now like a part of me,” Shapeard said, “So I’m keeping it for time.”
