Inspiration can strike from anywhere, and sometimes the most comfortable of social media questions can send you down the rabbit hole.
This morning missile arrived. Bob Zuppke – Twitter personality, not former Illinois Football Coach – raised an interesting question on Monday when Ilini signed Andrez Stojakovic. Compiring … which Illinois Basketball Dads will start themselves five?
Michael Jordan took his seat in the assembly hall in Champcash on Saturday on Saturday, February 27, 2010 to watch the Illinois-Mensota game. Minnesota defeated Illinois 62–60.
The five names presented initially were difficult at the top. Michael Jordan, of course, is the largest ever. The presence of Jeff Jordan in Orange and Blue since 2008-10 is a real coup for Ilini in the idea. Peja Stojakovic (Andrez), Frank Williams (Da’monte), Norm Cook (Bryan) and Calvin Booth (Kerry) were the other four dad. This is an impressive five.
But who can cut more for a fully developed Illinois dad rotation? Once the idea was in my head, I dove the Ilini record book as a refresher. Some names loosened a notable basketball dad such as Bill Alternberger (Doug), Woody Austin (Alex), Adrian Griffin (Alan), Rodney Hawkins (Coleman), Edgar Padila (Edgar Junior) and Roger Powell (Roger Powell (Roger Junior).
The group had several double-designated college basketball scorers. Woody Austin was 1988 Indiana Mr. Basketball and scored 17.4 marks in his last two sessions in Perbeue. Adrian Griffin did the same in the Seton Hall, scoring 17.3 points per game as a junior and senior in Seton Hall before going to a nine -year -old NBA career. Roger Powell hit double figures in his last three sessions in the state of Illinois, average 19.2 points as a senior, and Rodney Hawkins scored 12.1 points per game as a senior in the San Diego state.
Illinois Advertisement Josh Whitman joined hands with Illinois’ veteran Frank Williams, the father of Illinois Guard Dr. Monte Williamsum, Sunday, on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the State Farm Center in Champcash.
