San Francisco 49ers In 2025, Kicker Jake is not ruling when returning Moody, but he is not ruling in excluding a new kicker and taking early jobs.
At the NFL’s annual league meeting on Tuesday, head coach Kyle Shahanhan said that reporters had targeted the team to add competition for Moody after a bad struggle in the last season of the second year. The third-round pick in the 2023 draft was an up-a-and-down stop season in the third round of a halt, where he was eventually good to have his job for the second season after winning a job at Offsen in Zen Gonzalez.
Moody’s second year was worse than his earlier and 10 Mrs. was shown in 34 attempts. Since 2012, his 70.6 field round percentage with at least 34 attempts was the lowest by any kicker. He settled down with a high -ankle sprain and a mid -day change on the holder when Panch Mich Vishanoski went down with a back injury.
It is understandable that 49ers would not want to have a wholesale cut relationship with Moody. He responded to the final offens after the trading of 49 residents for Gonzalez. Shahnahan is expecting a similar response when he receives another kicker from this offsen.
“When you are doing a job, you are going against someone who is talented, you feel that pressure,” Shahanhan said through Mercury News. “I believe that if you can control him and beat a competent man, he will show us that he is capable for the season.”
It is not clear where 49ers will look to connect a kicker. They could do this through the draft, but it seems that so many other positions are unlikely to meet their needs. A business can be in those tasks as we saw for Gonzalaz a season ago. Unannounced crooks and free agent pools should also be open to them.
