you are not prepared.
This week, Omont hosts the 125th US Open, the 10th time this respected old warship has hosted the National Open. No courses have hosted more US Open, and no American course outside Agusta National has hosted more companies.
Omont has been the site of some of the best moments of Golf – Arnold Palmer lost in a playoffs in 1962, which a beef young player won his first tournament and won an Ohio child in the name of Jack Nicoss. Eleven years later, Johnny Miller wrote one of the greatest Sundays in Major Championship history, with a 63 card to capture the US Open. Recently, Dustin Johnson crossed a mid-day dispute to win the 2016 US Open.
Syllabus
Henry Fowns, designed by a steel industry magnets and amateur architects – designed this one course – Omont opened in 1904, immediately installed itself as one of the most difficult courses in the country. The course was initially played for an equal 80, even an equal 6 holes characterized. For 2025 US Open, the course will run at a distance of 7,372 yards and play equal to 70.

One of the most notable characteristics of Omont is its slope, ultra-skin green. The whole green surface slope is either far or away from the game, a challenge that does not matter where the land reaches. Sam Snad once jokingly said that when he put a penny to mark his ball, it slipped all the way.
The signing element of the course is its two distinguished bunkers, church pves – the island of fescue between a bunker between 3 and 4th holes – and piano keys – the same peninsula adjacent to the 15th. They are visually specific, and fortunately for today’s players, they still have not one of Omkont’s most satanic compositions: Long Furo, Carved by one hundred pound rake in Allegheni River Sand, called “Devils Backskratcher”. Happiness in hurting Omont players, but it was too much.
Key storyline
Can anyone stop scotty?

No one is still riding more than Scotty Chefler, three -time prominent winners and golf rule alpha dogs. He is tampering with the US Open-he has three top-seven finish in his last four opening-but even he must top his game to bring this one house.
Rory’s next act
After completing the mission of his life by winning the masters back in April, Rory McLero, wise, slowed down. He posted unexpected rounds at the PGA Championship in May, and missed the cut in Canada last week – not just as you want to come into a major.
Bryson Empire
There is no one in golf – Hek, no one in the game – like Bryson Dacombo, who has completely remake himself from Sulen Nard to the sociable YouTube star … and, surprisingly enough, is also one of the world’s best players. He won last year’s US Open, which was in one of the most dramatic finish you see, and he is primed to please millions of social media audiences with an encounter.

Career liberation
Many recent US Open Champions – John Rahm, Brooks Koipka and Colin Moricawa – have found themselves unexpectedly in recent years. All three can use another victory to recover their career trajectory. Another missing opportunities-or worse, another left cut-and already loud questions will become deaf.
Great unknown
Since Tiger Woods captured the Appocchal US Open win in 2008, some future hall of fames (McLaroy, Rahm, Kopka) captured the title-but one-manner champs have taken the best week of their lives in the biggest week of their lives. People such as Graeme McDowell, Web Simpson, Lucas Glover, Gary Woodland, Matt Fitzpatrick and Winham Clarke have taken steps when the spotlight was the most bright. Will we have another champion not out of (almost) this week? He will earn it, no matter who he is.

Expert pickle
Jai Hart: Colin Moricawa – Have you heard that Okmont is fat? If you have not done, you will be within 30 seconds of the beginning of Round 1 on Thursday. So it is not a talented to find out that you have to stay out of trouble this week to survive. For this reason, I am going with Moricawa, who is second in killing Fairways this season. One win also put him a leg (masters) from his career Grand Slam.

Ryan Young: Scotty Chefler – This is the easiest pick there, and it does not require much of clarification. No one in the golf world is playing better than a scotty chefler. not even close. He has conquered three of his last four, which is without any issue, so why will things be separated in Okmont? This week is only a matter of some time before being away from the Sheffeler ground. By Sunday afternoon, he must have won his second direct major championship.
Jay busbee: Bryson Decombo – This is what I get to take the final. I do not trust the closing speed of Rory McLero’s driver or John Rahm, so they are outside. I am also not fully thrilled about the state of Iron Play of Bryson Decombo – he effectively shot himself both the Masters and PGA Championship with their balky approach – but the distance is a serious weapon in the Omkont, and the dekombo is ready to get the hell out of the ball and when it is ready to do it when he falls down.
